my journey
Web developing as a hobby with a habit of building things that didn't exist yet.
## Growing up with a settings menu
I grew up opening things I wasn't supposed to, breaking software, and figuring out how to fix it. That habit didn't go away — it just became a career path.
## Falling for the web
The web became my focus: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP with Kirby CMS for fast, content-driven sites. I like building things that feel simple from the outside, even when there's a lot running underneath.
## Real projects, real lessons
To actually learn, I started building tools and websites other people could use. Each one is a small case study — what held up, what broke in production, and what I'd automate next time.

Beyond Code
Two kinds of slow.
Most spare time goes into making things by hand. That means 3D printing parts until the tolerances are right, painting miniatures detail by detail, and sewing — currently figuring out how to make my own clothes, which turns out to have a lot in common with writing CSS. Any creative process that rewards patience and iteration is welcome.
